Models Frequently Asked Questions

For (New) Models – Posing for Artistic / Nude Work

I’m new to nude or artistic posing. Is that okay? Yes. Many models start with little or no experience. Clear communication, comfort, and collaboration matter more than prior nude work.

What kind of work is this? Fine-art and implied nude photography with an emphasis on light, form, emotion, and composition. The work is artistic rather than explicit adult content. You will always know the intended use of the images before the shoot.

How do boundaries and consent work? Everything is discussed in advance. You set hard limits (what is never shown, what is never done). You can pause, adjust, or stop at any time. No pressure is ever applied. A model release is signed only for images you approve.

What should I expect on the day?

  • Private location

  • Clear communication of each setup

  • Time to warm up and settle in

  • Opportunity to review images on the camera if desired

  • Respectful, professional atmosphere

You will never be asked to do anything outside the agreed boundaries.

Is this paid or TFP (Time for Prints)? Both options exist depending on the project. Some artistic series are TFP (you receive high-resolution images for your portfolio). Paid work is clearly stated upfront. Compensation and usage rights are always agreed in writing before the shoot.

What happens to the images? You will always see the final selects. Images used for portfolios, exhibitions, limited prints, or publications are only those you have approved. Nothing is published without your consent for that specific use.

Do I need experience or a specific body type? No. Artistic nude work values presence, expression, and form over conventional modeling standards. A wide range of bodies and experience levels are welcome when the collaboration feels right.

How do I inquire or apply? Send a short message with:

  • A brief introduction

  • Any relevant experience (or note that you are new)

  • Portfolio or snapshot links if available

  • Preferred style of work and any hard boundaries

I reply to every serious inquiry.

General Notes for Both Groups

  • All work is adults-only (18+ verified).

  • Clear, written agreements are used for every session.

  • Professionalism and respect are non-negotiable.

  • Questions are always welcome — ask anything before, during, or after.

If you have a specific concern not covered here, reach out directly. Clear communication is the foundation of good work.
